ABOUT ME

Hello, I'm Gijs

I live in Amsterdam for many years, love this small but very international and vibrant city and plan to live here for much longer!

I'm a project manager (city planning) and semi-professional photographer, love to take my camera while traveling or do a personal photo-shoot on outstanding locations.

I love traveling and helping guys who do travel themselves. I'm interested in city planning, architecture, art, culture (movies, modern dance), sports, books, food, cooking, wine… and socialize with friends.

I go to the gym a few times a week and like rowing, cycling or kiting (on a beach). So if you'r a member of a rowing club, we can go out in a boat together. I love good wine, nice food, coffee and chocolates :-)
Love cooking… so if you need a hand in the kitchen? Or lets go out cycling or gallery hopping...

Locals just know so much more about there 'home' and whats special for them. I'm curious and want to bring new experiences back home… to make Amsterdam an even better place!
