ABOUT ME

A mystical wolf from the wilderness of Finland whose lifelong goal is to become an enlightened world citizen through meeting people and visiting places around the world. Every passing day he's learning something new about the world revolving around him and is taught by the people he meets. People who briefly meet this being describe him as a friendly, open-minded, madventerous and easy-going person. Traveling with him leads without exceptions to adventures - so they say.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I travel perhaps once or even twice a year to some location, so meeting a person through CS is a great opportunity to get contact with a native. Natives have always to offer a lot more than any guidebook! And myself? I'm willing to help out people who somehow manage to get lost in the wilderness of Finland, Tampere. I'm also willing to offer tips and couch for people when need it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far my experiences have been EXTREMELY good! I've been mostly just surfing and I did my Tour de Baltic + Poland - trip only by surfing! And also another tour only in Poland. I had some difficulties having hosts in Egypt and the Middle East, but anyhow the few ones who hosted were exceedingly kind people! I went also out for an extensive adventure through the Balkans and met wonderful people hosting me then. It is great how people take me in and even treat me with fabulous evenings and nights. This thing works like a charm and is so nice way to connect people around the world! Wherever I go or whenever people ask about my travels I always strongly advertise CS! :)

Interests

Sports especially football, floorball and cycling, music: 60-80's rock 'n roll music, classical, progressive, metal...I play myself guitar. Mountains are my great passion! I enjoy strolling in nature and hate being in crowded places :P I love chocolate :DD

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a passionate movie watcher and also a movie maker. To be honest I'm not going to point out any specific movie I've enjoyed during these years.

Movies which have a longer term impact on the way of our thinking and perspectives are always good movies. Movies should have a clear message or artful meaning, i think. I despise the fact that most movies still are only out there to purely mindlessly entertain us! What a waste of money...!

Teach, Learn, Share

Ah here comes my special trait: the FLOW. I believe many experienced and life-long travelers know this thing but to recognize it is for some difficult. So if you ever need help finding your flow just ask me what the heck is it and you'll get an answer :)

Other thing i tend to do is tell travel tips for fellow travelers as it is something utilitarian and mutually beneficial - in respond i get good tips for myself too heh.
