I can't pick one, but these are my favorites: Standing face-to-face with North Korean soldiers at the DMZ; camping on a virgin beach in the Philippines; giving dirty toasts at a Colombian wedding in Bogota; standing beneath the fresco of the Sistine Chapel; skinny dipping with plankton at midnight on the southern coast of Korea; relaxing in northern Kyoto hot springs in December; nearly getting into a bar fight with a scottsman in the Isle of Skye; learning to gut tuna on the docks of Little Aboco in the Bahamas; giving mud baths to elephants in Chiang mai; attending the State of the Union in Washington DC
