Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I do swap-home, exchange-house for 20 years now and I did 30 exchanges all around the world with a great excitation and wonderful experiences. It became a real "virus" to travel exchanging my house.
I wanted to try another experience of sharing through the travels. I waited too much years to enter in this community of couchsurfers and there was no reason... So for 7 years, I'm a couchsurfer and I love that spirit...
Because it's all what I like in this world : to travel, to meet people and to share... Make discover my area, discover other places differently, share simply with new people open minded...
All what is important : to live like a human being passionated and fully alive.

Music, Movies, and Books

All kind of music because music is life.
Not really favorite band, it depends the song and the spirit of the moment in my life... From classical, Jazz, rock, pop to heavy metal (...) all is interesting. I'm ready and wait to discover your own favorites and new ones !

No favorite movies, but so much at the same time !!! I appreciate a lot these moments in front of a new movie (or also an old one). All in the cinema is interesting, all.

Books : suspense books, social books, beautiful stories about this world (tragic or happy), travel guides (yes it is book too, no ?! So exciting to discover by reading, before to see the real landscapes, cultures and people).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

During my travels, so much exciting things... But what means amazing ? Everything is relative...
To swim in Indian ocean with whale and her baby at 10 meters : yes it was amazing ! A perfect and unique moment inside the wildlife.
To be in front of the most dangerous snake in a wild park in Costa rica ? Yes it's crazy, I know... But also a moment of real truth in the life... So extraordinary experience...
To enter in this territory, which is not our territory, the wildlife, it's always an exceptional chance and make you feel what you are in this world : only and simply a being like all the other ones... It's good to remember that regularly...
But to meet people with large and true smiles everywhere in the world is also an extraordinary and amazing adventure, each time... Don't you think so ?
And the next experiences, the next meetings, will be, I'm sure, the best ones...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share this human looking on the things and on the people that we have all when we love to travel to see and understand new cultures.
No, the world is not only conflict, violence, hypocrisy, jealousy, individualism... It's before all, a human world with lot of smiles, understanding and open minded... Travel with opened mind and you'll see this truth too ! (even to your next region if you cannot go at the opposite of the world) ...
I can share my experiences of traveler but also I would like to learn about your experiences of this world...It's important for me.
