Marine and I are a nice couple that would love to make new friends and have fun with anybody we'd meet during our trip. It is a 12 to 15 months trip around south-east Asia ; starting in Bali, Indonesia and ending in Nepal !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Gilles has first enjoyed couchsurfing during a 5-months trip in Latin America and now we want to keep traveling that way since it is the best way to discover local culture and lifestyle.

Music, Movies, and Books

Marine and I have more or less the same favourite types of music:

- House, Deep house, Tech-house, nu-disco, breakbeat, IDM, ambient, Techno
- Rap and hip hop (even chill instrumental or trip hop)
- Reggaeton (Gilles : after 4 months living in Spain and a 5 months trip in Latin America...)

Gilles : I'm the guy that has seen most of the must-see movies but can't remember a single scene.. Still, I'm more art film-oriented than transformers 18-oriented. But I like classic movies like "Goodfellas", "The godfather", "Memento", "Fight club"... I also watched more than 50 japanese anime.

Marine : I like series like "The big bang theory" and movies as "Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind", "Lion", "Django", "Princess Mononoke", "Inception". I also like psychological series like "6 feet under".

We like philosophical/initiatory books (Paul Coelho, books about karma) and also fantasy books like Lord of the rings and even more serious books about emotional intelligence.

We can teach you more about traveling in Europe, Latin America, about music or our language. We are ready to learn whatever you can teach us, especially if this is about karma or meditating but we'd be glad to share a simple moment with you

Our sense of humor and good vibes ! Also Marine does really like to cook Italian food ( and she cooks very well ;)) so she might be cooking something for you !
