ABOUT ME

Sure I am a funny guy ! Not the one who speaks louder jokes, but the one who never miss anything !
I like taking things sarcastically, there is always a reason to laugh about anything, always keeping in mind that our cultural differences are our common wealth.
I am loyal to my friends, I have only 3 mates, all of them for more than 10 years. They would say I am a good man, trying to do the right thing.
I am constantly in movement. I like giving myself objectives, challenging myself for personnal or professional reasons.
I have a very personnal vision of life to share. Something that can not really be described ! :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never been hosted myself. I have done some woofing in Australia. Considering all the jobs I have been involved back there, I was also invited by locals all around Australia (Airlie Beach, Darwin, Perth, Melbourne). These were amazing experiences !

Interests

I was born with informatic revolution. I first grabbed a mouse when I was 8 years old. I grew up along with internet first http:// pages, recordable CD, first fast-speed downloads. I am nothing like a Web social geek though, I will spend my time on the internet browsing for videos, music, literature, cultural and scientific contents, trip advisors and architectural reviews.
Very far from surfing on the Net, I love road-tripping in my region. I like going out in Nature, staying overnight in a remote place in the mountains or near the sea, connected with stars, night sounds, flowing streams of water shivering in the pale moon light...
Alright, I also read a lot of English and American novels, especially fantasy, Sci-Fi, Horror, strange detective novels... :-)
I will spend the rest of my time going out in my city, living the Mediterranean way of life : joining friends for live music, eating south of France specialties on a shady terrace, drinking (too much) Pastis late at night in Marseilles' alternative districts, doing nothing near the sea, just enjoying our very, very nice weather...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I drove about 26000 km all around Australia in my van. Must be the most incredible thing I have done in my life !
I also remember hiking in Lao mountains, reaching out to native populations. We slept overnight, invited by the chief of the village. Surrounded by smiley kids, farms animals, we had nothing to do but share laughs and life style with these welcoming people.
I also deeply appreciated staying 5 days on a small Cambodia island inhabited by only fews locals, fishing for today's food, lost in virgin nature, my small paradise on earth !
