One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In the summer 2002, I integrate an independant european association, I took part in a free artistic and multicultural festival in Mostar ( Bosnia ). This city was split up in two parts after the Yugoslav war: The catholic croatian one and the Muslim Bosnian part. This festival was create in order to do bring the two communities.
Actually this association didn't have so much money, we repaired an old urban bus to go in Bosnia, we built concert halls, bars and exhibition galeries in the ruins of the front line.
We slept on the floor in an old gymnasium, and we did'nt have the modern comfort, no mirrors too.
This festival ran 2 weeks, after we decided with friends from the association to travel in te rest of Bosnia and in Croatia. I felt strong vibes in Sarajevo and Bosnia!
