Hello!

I'm an artist, curious learner, maker and sometimes traveler. I reside in Oakland CA where I draw and paint, make things you can wear, spend time by the lake, and dance. I live in a giant romantic old mansion with lots of stories and probably some ghosts (but no bad ghosts, just good ones).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've met some of the best people because they graced my big old wonderful house with their presence, their wit, and their warmth. I'd like to keep growing the number of wonderful people I know in other places, both through hosting and traveling.

I would love to teach you how to knit! Or draw or do calligraphy. Let's make wrapping paper for a present you're about to give, or whip up some Pavlovas in the kitchen. I can draw a portrait of you for your website. If you tell me a funny story I might also make a comic of it while we're chatting. :)
