ABOUT ME

I am friendly, outgoing, up for an adventure. I work freelance as a photographic stylist, designing room sets, prop buying and dressing/styling sets for photo shoots, short films and TV commercials. I love being freelance as it means my job is very varied and that I am working with different people all the time, which makes it a little bit of a hobby also as I love meeting people and being social. I am often scouring antiques fairs and car boots for an unusual prop. I have lived in the city of Manchester most of my life and it is a very vibrant and creative place. I am close to my family who live nearby and I have a rescue dog called Daisy.

兴趣

Reclamation and salvage, I have a lot of salvaged pieces of furniture in my home, some that I have upcycled, I mosaiced my hall floor with tiles from a skip. Eco living ( I watched Mike Reynolds 'Garbage Warrior' and would love my own earthship ), Food, health and nutrition, I love to shop at local markets and delis and love dining out, nothing too pretencious just GOOD food. Live Music, I like Jazz, Reggae, Folk, World, Balearic chillout Music, Art, I like to visit galleries and go to events at galleries. I like to experience lesser known arty venues rather than anything too commercial.

Books and Authors I like are Marie Antoinette Biography, Catcher and the Rye, Victoria Hislop, Out of Captivity: Surviving 1,967 Days in the Colombian Jungle, Jane Eyre, Power of NOW, Dictionary, Edward de Bono, Paulo Coelho, I am Malala.

Not a huge movie fan but some that spring to mind are Green Card, Kevin Macdonald's Marley, Garbage Warrior, Encounters at the end of the world, Pulp Fiction, Drive.
