COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We hosted a whole bunch of couch surfers last year. Once we get our place sorted out after moving we will likely open up for hosting again :).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

COaching: A friend came to us and wanted to change her life, but her habits were all about being lazy, helpless and whiny. So over the course of two weeks I helped her break through the worst of that by intensively coaching he for 12 to 16 hours a day. After this period and another few months to grow further and she'd become healthier, happier and starting to show the beginnings of real, deep wisdom. This is one of my proudest achievements in life so far - playing an integral part in helping someone turn their life around for the better.

More generally, getting glimpses of what is possible with an attitude of joy and fun combined with sheer persistence. This helped me change myself from a shy little boy who was always hiding to someone who´s growing more excited, loud and strong. Not to mention bold enough to be on this site looking for a couch surfing address in a far-away city I've never been to before :).
