I’m a newly empty nester and would like to share my home/apartment with individuals who share the love of adventure, travel, meeting new people, and experiencing and learning new cultures.

I live in a 2 bedroom, 1 bath apartment with a comfy sectional couch. My location is considered north Seattle and nearby areas are Kenmore, Shoreline and Lake City.

I’m on the Sound Transit/Metro bus line with various buses to multiple areas and the Light Rail at UW (Univ of Washington) that travels to SeaTac Airport via Capitol Hill and downtown Seattle. From my home to downtown Seattle is about a 20-30 min bus ride.

I’m also above the Burke-Gilman trail. A multi use recreational trail that begins in Ballard and ends in Bothell then turns into the Sammamish River Trail and eventually the East Sammamish River Trail that extends to Issaquah.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’d like the opportunity to travel at a nominal cost and overnight with and engage in conversation with individuals who make their home your faraway home.
