Hey there,
my name is Gina and I am 28 years old and it is still hard for me to describe myself.
So, here we go:
I am living in Witzenhausen, where I am studying "Sustainable Agriculture". How I got there is a bit weird, because till I was 25 years old I made a lot of social and political stuff. I love to work with different people and create something new together. But after ten years of social work I felt that something was missing.
I found out that I didn`t knew anything about sience and I love beeing in the nature since I was a child. I wanted to get to know the secrets of live threw sience-glasses.
On the other hand it was also important to me to study something which also respects this funky planet and its processes we are living on.
So this is why I came to Witzenhausen! If I tell people what I am doing, they always think I would like to become a farmer, but this is just one possibility after university.
My wish is to become a good ecological plant protector. In conventional agriculture you work a lot with pesticides to save the culture you want to grow. What I am learning is to have a look at habitat with all its individual processes and its flora and fauna and find a solution to create a ballance. So it`s more beeing an detective than a farmer :).
In my freetime I like to dance and listen to music from all over the world, and for sure, hanging around with my friends. Sometimes when we are together we produce handmade things we collected from the nature around Witzenhausen. I really like this, because it is a very creative thing. What I also love to be creative on is my hair. I know, sounds abit stupid, but I really like to be free how I want to look like.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I start couchsurfing, because of my trainee at the Eden Project and I need an accomondation for this time. I really hope it will be successfull and can give it back to someone who needs a place in Witzenhausen.

Interests

I am interested in agriculture for sure, culture and art, music and dancing, and all the other beautiful things in life.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like nearly every kind of music- acoustic or electronic, except german volcmusic :). I like classic movies and movies, without the typical hollywood-frame, because it is so boring when you know what happens

Teach, Learn, Share

First of all, it is impossible, to say, what you will share/teach/learn. I want to have a good time and I am curious about the things I can give and what I`ll get. So what I surely can say is that my heart and my mind is open for everything encountering me!
