About Me

I have lived all over the place most of my life. I have over 25,000 miles under my belt in national as well as international moves! Some because of the military, some because I felt like it, some because...well the money was better wherever I was going :)

I'm a mom to three fantastic sons who live in the UK and the US now; I chose to move to Germany again in 2016. I don't know how long I will be here but hey, life is fluid!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The only thing that makes the world go 'round is people! I am non-denominational, non-judgemental and open to anything at least once. :) I have a long to-do list of visiting Tokyo, Cairo, Sydney for the big cities and then come the smaller ones in obscure areas of Cambodia, India and Sri Lanka (mostly for temples etc).

I think it would be fantastic to meet people from other countries, sit and chat, enjoy a glass of wine, show them around town and whatever else comes up (if wanted). I don't go out to party anymore (sheesh, we do get older ya know!) but I enjoy good food, good conversation and good company.

I can offer a comfy air-bed for a stay-over but I'm not a hotel. You will be treated with respect and have your privacy.

Interests

I am into archaeology, ancient history, science fiction and food. Food? Yes! I'm addicted to cooking shows, I think they call it food "porn" and I learned a lot from them. I was an excellent cook to begin with and I bake some mean pound cakes.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste ranges from Billy Holiday to Ozzy Osborne and everything in between.

I love Stephen King, Dean Koontz, James Patterson and well, Ernest Hemingway.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to drag race on a quarter mile. '76 Camaro, bored 30 over. I did a respectable 10 seconds on a quarter mile in an amateur race.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Not sure what I can share other than myself. I am a gracious person but I don't put up with BS either.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Greenland, Italy, Netherlands, Slovakia, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, United Kingdom, United States
