About Me

Is it possible to be shy & bold at the same time? If so, that's me! Constantly looking for adventure, or a reason to escape. Usually driving the back roads and exploring new little places. I love dwelling in antique shops and vintage markets for hours on end. Photographing abandoned/decayed buildings is one of my favorite things. Have a slight obsession with all things paranormal and creepy, and dig all the oddities!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Being a pretty quiet soul, I'm looking to branch out and experience more things in life! The world is filled with wonderful people and I feel like I have so many of you to meet, and I love learning new things. A great listener and also a great person for those "I'd love to go, but don't want to go alone" events.

Music, Movies, and Books

My favorite all time movie is probably Fried Green Tomatoes, gotta love Kathy Bates. When it comes to music, I listen to what makes my heart happy, or anything that can inspire me to create. Recently have been listening to movie scores done by Trent Reznor.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

About ten years ago I went on a mission trip to West Virginia and was assigned a mobile home with an elderly woman who lived inside. Our group was given the responsibility to build her a wheelchair ramp so she could leave the trailer on her own. We bonded with her and found she had so many issues below the surface that were deeper than the ramp we were sent to assemble, and did our best to help her gain a fresh start. After spending ten days with her in the Appalachian mountains, we not only built that ramp, we became friends and cleaned out and revamped her living space. It wasn't much, but it meant the world to someone who was left alone and couldn't fend for herself. She passed not too long after we left, and I think about her all the time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can help you learn basics with photography, and teach you some great techniques. Impromptu photo shoot anyone? Also a great listener and conversationalist.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am very considerate of other peoples surroundings and lifestyle. Always clean up after myself, and never take for granted what I am given!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Italy
