ABOUT ME

Scott has lived in Yakima since 1999 and Gina has lived here since 2008. We have truly enjoyed living in a rural village in Zambia since 2011, but will be glad to get back to Yakima this winter. AND now we are now both semi-fluent in Lunda, which unfortunately wasn't on the language selector.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We've hosted three groups of couchsurfers in America before we left for Zambia, and Gina stayed with one in Canada. Other than that, we're pretty new.

We are outdoor enthusiasts, gardeners, and LOVE making breakfast with local eggs and milk. We like making music on our drums and riding our bikes around Yakima. We also won't pass up a good wine and a game of Scrabble. We like to swing dance and salsa dance. We like skiing, backpacking, and rock climbing. Interests in Zambia include learning the local culture.

Climbed Mt. Kilamanjaro and rode a mountain bike around Lake Titicaca.

Gina is in a goat-milking co-op in Wiley City, and loves to share this skill with anyone interested in milking their own goat and taking home some yummy to make cheese or yogurt.
Scott can teach you the basic rhythms on the djembe.
