CURRENT MISSION

Besides annihilating the 26 miles in Honolulu next week, my mission is to avoid sleeping with turtles & crabs. :P

ABOUT ME

Right now I'm preparing to head down to Honolulu. I'm hoping to find a couch on the North Shore of Oahu. Hewp Meeeeeee... Everything is booked! :O

I love my hometown of Toronto but, I'm always looking for ways to escape. I'll never feel like I have travelled enough, or read enough books.
I think play is as important as work.
Writing is a way for me to process.
Dancing is something my body expects every week.
Love kidz & critters!
I'm an intrepid vegetarian cook... cuz I think compassion is Top!
I'm political ... and for lack of a better phrase, I'm a work in progress. I like to challenge and be challenged.
I dig a kool brain. :)

PHILOSOPHY

Be tolerant. Being judgemental is a human trait that causes more harm than good. Something I try to be mindful of. I try to be present. ... I find the more I do, the less I can absorb. In the end I will summarize the success of my life in the experiences I had with people ... not how practical I was, or what I acquired. I have a lot of good friends. Most of them I have known for many years, (one since I was 5 yrs old!). When I'm lucky enough to find a good one, I work at keeping them.
And most importantly ... be responsible, but don't forget you're a kid inside.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music prefs are too extensive to list ... I can summarize by saying most everything but country. I have a love for Industrial, Foreign Classical, & anything with a wikkid beat.

Movies include documentary, and Horror. Good horror is all about suspense, and that is just plain hard to come by. Let me know if there is something I should see!

Can't live without books or music, so again too extensive to list. But I am mostly a non-fiction reader, with an appreciation for fantasy & sci-fi, and childrens books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A bunch of stuff... and probably some things I shouldn't mention here! :P
One of the most amazing things I have seen are the red rock mountains of Sedona, AZ. ... or King Ludwig's Castle Neuschwanstein, in Bavaria. Absolute bananas!
