ABOUT ME

Ginger works from home as an area representative for foreign exchange students - finding host families and monitoring/mentoring the students during their stay.
Andy works for ABB... an energy and robotics company.
We have two grown children and have hosted ten exchange students from around the world. We enjoy traveling, entertaining, helping, music, movies, and learning about new cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

Strangers are only friends we haven't met yet! The world is getting smaller and smaller so everyone needs to learn to get along! I just heard a great quote from a teacher... "You get what you get... deal with it!" Works for us!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

While we haven't had any experience couch surfing (yet!)... our daughter was able to do so while traveling in the Middle East last year. Her experiences were great fun!

Interests

Music - all kinds, movies, gardening, entertaining, pets. Lately we've gotten into taking short hikes. Love love love coffee! :-)

Ginger enjoys a lot of pop culture stuff - Stephen King, Robin Cook, John Grisham... Nora Roberts :-) Andy enjoys Science Fiction.
Music - we love alot of stuff - Andy likes Alternative/Indie music, Ginger usually gravitates to more pop stuff. All time favorite movies... Labyrinth, Princess Bride, Blade Runner. More current favorites: Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm. Ginger can bake, loves art "projects", and she's a good trip planner. Andy is a whiz at everything Apple related (computers etc!) (Our son works for Apple as a "genius"). He is really up on current music and we have attended the Bonnaroo music festival several times!

Love to learn new things... languages, stories, travel/ life experiences.
