ABOUT ME

I made a move in early 2015 that I have been dreaming of for many years - to the West Coast! After being an East Coast girl for a majority of my life, I decided to adventure to the Santa Cruz/Bay Area to get re-inspired by nature and the beauty of the coast here - and I'm LOVING it!!!

I'm a Dreamer, photographer, music lover, sometimes blogger, adventurer, foodie, beer and wine drinker, meditation practitioner and wannabe yoga doer... I LOVE coffee... coffee shops, bookstores, nooks and crannies, art, shows, live music, performance art, long drives with no destination...exploring by foot, off the beaten path... Meeting new people and hearing their story. Learning and teaching... I am real. I am fun. I am talkative when need be, and quiet as well. I am a human being who strives on learning and experiencing... I remember being a lot younger and telling my parents that I wanted to meet as many people on the face of the earth as possible in my lifetime... I'm doing a pretty good job soo far...

PHILOSOPHY

I live each day like it's my last..... No longer confined to the 3 walls of a cubicle, I've shed that part of me and decided to LIVE my life for me and see all that I can -- thru my eyes, my lens, and thru others... Respecting each and every soul along the way...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'd like to "surf" in a few area to get a feel for this -- of course slightly intrigued but safely apprehensive, but then my sense of adventure takes over. Who knows, you may be on MY couch someday!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have only surfed a couple times soo far and LOVED it! Made some incredible new friends!!! Whenever I've reached out to fellow surfers since joining for possible stays - everyone has been amazing and nice!

My interests are pretty varied... I'm cautious but adventurous at the same time... I watch people, not trying to figure them out, but to try and learn something from them.... I like surfing, rowing, walking, skateboarding... Musically - pretty varied from Classical to White Zombie... I love Richard Avedon photography with a twist of Robert Mapelthorpe... Reading to gain knowledge, not to just fill space...

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

soo far, One of this coolest things I can think of was watching the sunrise over the crater then mountain biking down the worlds largest dormant volcano in Maui - Mt Haleakala. My recent travels to Kathmandu, Nepal also tops my list -- trekking to a Buddhist Monastery and having breakfast and lunch at someones home overlooking the Himalayas -- breathtaking.
