I love to be outdoors -- swimming, hiking, or sitting doing nothing at all. Nothing better than a nap under a tree on a warm day!

Music. I spent quite a few years working in radio/music. So... I love *almost* everything. Jazz, indie, classic rock, mainstream pop, dance anthems, electronica, music from around the world, classical, folk/traditional, field recordings.

I grew up in Hawaii. Often I'd go down to see the fresh lava near where it was pouring into the ocean. Sometimes I accidentally got *very close*. I have done many interesting things but can think of nothing more humbling/awesome than the burn of looking into red hot lava.
