I'm using couch surfing to meet local people and learn more about the culture, as well as the best things to do and see in the area.

I studied biology at university, with a specialisation in neuroscience, and am planning on doing a masters in psychotherapy once I return to the U.K.

My passions include abstract painting, yoga, meditation, spending time in nature, travelling and poi spinning.

I love and appreciate all kinds of music, depending on the mood. Reggae, ambient, global, lounge, jazz, all the way to melodic techno and drum and bass when feeling a little more energetic.

Artsy films with nice cinematography and interesting characters are my favourite, e.g. those directed by Wes Anderson. I also love the David Attenborough animal documentaries.

The books I read at the moment are generally non-fiction and fit into the psychology, art, spirituality and self-development genres.
