ABOUT ME
My instinct is to like people, to smile and ask how their day is. l like variety, challenges, spiritual connections, mountain tops, and deep friendships. I would say I am made up of approximately 50% peace/love and 50% get-it done straight-forward determination and strength.
I have a embarrassing fear of rodents, I love camping and whiskey, and can't say 'no' to homemade chocolate chip cookies. I love deep conversations and struggle with small talk for too long. I like kids, animals and pretty much all food and art.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've 'unofficially' hosted couch surfers for years. 'Couchsurfing' is a way of being and our home has been open to our community of friends since the beginning. I accept surfers, I just don't live in a touristy area.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've couch surfed with a friend through our travels many times although it doesn't show up on my references. I can obtain references as needed.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Traveled to France on a teeny budget of ab 150 bucks, and a free place to stay, no phone service or French to lean on. No previous travel abroad alone, or contacts, and the most difficult was being a stay at home mom of 4 kids and leaving the work to everyone else for that time period. Getting away as a young mom and spreading my wings was exactly what I needed!

I love to share my experiences, both failures and successes, so that others can advance from my vantage point or at the very least use it to save themselves from unneccesary difficulties.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share my life experiences with having children at at a young age, self-employed business, non-profits, travels, and of course just good ole fashioned conversation . I can also help cook, organize, or consult on anything in my wheelhouse such as small business practices.
