About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world, gather as much information about our planet as possible and bring my experience to the classroom for my students.

ABOUT ME

I had a vision to get lost in the world, so I could find myself. And I did it. After graduating school I moved to Australia - to study, travel and get as far from my comfort zone as possible. Before my journey I made myself a promise, to commit my life for the one thing I will miss the most. I might be the one in a million, who misses school. I missed school so much, that I decided, it is the one thing in life I can't live without. Now I am teaching geography at a private school in Vilnius Oldtown and I want to travel the whole world so I could bring the big world into a small classroom and pass my knowledge about this beautiful planet to my students.

PHILOSOPHY

Live, if you die tomorrow, learn, if you live forever.

MANTRA

Everything is positive.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Life is a journey and we are all just travelers of the cosmos in one perfect spaceship - our Earth. We explore the world and love to travel, even when we are settled at home, the world comes to us, because we love to host our friends from abroad and random hitchhikers we pick up from the streets. We know what it is like to be on the road, so we take care of our guests and treat them with our regular full-package: cosy hygge with food, snacks, great music, relaxing atmosphere and intellectual talks.

Interests

FOOD - Life is too short to eat bad food. Every meal for us has to be a feast and celebration, so we bring dining to a next level. Plant based, raw and cooked - every day deserves to be delicious, full of new flavours and full-filling food choices.
YOGA. Years ago I said "Yoga is not for me" and I was very wrong. Yoga became a part of me and I can't live without it anymore. Meditation comes along and saves the day everyday.
EDUCATION. I decided to devote my life for education, because to me, this is the one and only meaningful aspect of life. If you haven't learned something today, you've wasted your day. I learn constantly and everything I discover, I bring to my students and challenge their view of the world.
COFFEE - Oh coffee, our dark lord. I praise coffee as a drug, as well as one amazing source of information on hoe soil and climate affects the taste of the beans, then comes the human hand and knowledge to mix it up and make it a degustation of what the world has to offer. I love to get energised and educated by specialty coffee.
GEOLOGY - I discovered my passion for rocks and soil during my geography studies, because they are like a book of the earth, and I love books. I like to "get my hands dirty" and dig into this type of information reading.
