ABOUT ME

I'm a multicultural, hyphenated Canadian who seeks light as a passion, and sometimes makes a living doing it. I'm also a sci-fi geek, who loves Neal Stephenson, William Gibson, and has a taste for the political arena. I have strong opinions, and am vocal in those. I also believe in difference of opinion, and am comfortable being around those whose worldview is different from my own.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I inform people about things, places, people and events occurring wherever I may find myself.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been fortunate to have friends across my own home country, so I've never had to sleep on someone else's couch whom I didn't already know.

In Egypt, I found accommodation in a non-tourist, working-class neighbourhood that even the army and police didn't go into, an experience like no other.

I joined a crowd of over a million people in Tahrir square to photograph their experience and share in the powerful emotions spreading in the aftermath of the Egyptian Revolution.
