Overview
About Me
I was born in Perugia, a small wonderful city in the heart of Italy. I'm currently working in the University of Sheffield, School of Architecture, Acoustics Group as a PhD candidate. I moved here in 2015 for an internship and then I couldn't leave. Sheffield is a lovely city, very multicultural and vibrant.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love travelling and talking with people to get to know better their culture and experiences. I'm extremely fascinating by everything you can discover seeing different part of the world, and every trip I do enrich me every time surprisingly.
Interests
In my spare time I love cooking and baking for my housemates. I like to try any kind of food and every time I travel I try to experiment something local. Another passion is singing, my father had a music band and he grew me up surrounded by music. I love doing sports and due to an accident unfortunately I had to stop playing volleyball after 12 years, anyway I really enjoy doing Yoga and Pilates and I love climbing and bouldering.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love going to gigs and music festival, I don't have any specific favourite music genre, but my favourite festival is without any doubt Umbria Jazz which take place in my hometown every second week of July and I highly recommend to experience once in a life time. The contrast between the historical city centre and the vibrant multicultural atmosphere is something unique.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Last summer I've been backpacking on the south of Spain with a bunch of friends and it's been one of the most incredible trip I've ever done.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm more than happy to give tips on how to speak Italian or Italian cooking. I'm actually learning Mandarin which I find an incredibly fascinating language.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a really talkative person (sometime too much), but I,m really discrete too. Anyway I'd love to share my travelling experiences and possibly cooking for people I meet. I can help learning or practising English or Italian since I speak them at a proficiency level and I also play the ukulele and sing and I love improvising jam sessions for my friends and hosts.
