I'm from Australia and moved to Germany in 2012. There, I studied History and Russian for reasons I no longer completely understand and now direct international communications for a building physics institute (I'm even less sure how that happened). After stints in Berlin and Darmstadt, I am now back living in Stuttgart in the South of Germany.

I love to travel and sew. I hate to cook and I barely tolerate jogging (though I'll admit once I'm into it it's fine...ish).

I couchsurfed in Spain, Finland, all throughout Germany, France and a few other places and have always had fantastic hosts, definitely a great experience and I plan to continue couch surfing in the future :)

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I listen to a lot of rock music from the 60s right through to more modern stuff.
Movies: Mmmmm what have I seen lately? I like a good comedy movie, not into horror movies and rarely feel the need to watch anything that's going to make me cry (I commute a lot for work, so there's enough else to cry about)
Books: I read a lot (commuter), I read a lot of history books and other non-fiction but my favourite books are probably One Day, the Picture of Dorian Gray and Stephen King's older works
