About Me

CURRENT MISSION

travelling through Germany to who knows where trying to learn to speak german

ABOUT ME

born in athens, spend most of my life there but all the small trips i took seem to take much bigger part in making what i am today

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

for the past year i have been hosting some couchsurfers at my appartment in
Athens, found the experience rewarding and i am planning soon on traveling

Interests

my work has to do with the web so i am quite lucky that this is one of my interest as well.
but the best things are not online - you can't travel online and those e-book reading devices just don't cut it for me.
My interests change like the weather, some people have gone so far as to "accuse" me of having attention deficit disorder but i thing they are over exaggerating

Music, Movies, and Books

Currently reading douglas adams complete work... and just got my hands on the BBC radio series of the hhgttg as well which turns out to be amazing.

My favorite Greek author Nick Kazantzakis, BTW if you plan on visiting Greece just take with you “zorba the greek” the name is over used and it may sound like a Greek tavern but the book is one of the best books in global literature and it will give you a clear sense of the Greek spirit… know that I think of it you can read it even if you don’t plan on visiting Greece.

Other authors I like Milan countera, paul auster(especially mr vertigo), herman hesse,Gabriel Garcia Marquez,

favorite movies memento, fight club, the usual suspects, apocalypse now, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, the godfather, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels

used to be a complete movie buff , now I prefer mini series because I like the way the story builds up
all time favorite: boston legal
just finished "the wire" mini series ...loved it,
“united states of tara” was also fantastic
used to like lost( but 3-4 season were enough) same for “24”

in comedy I enjoyed “30 rock”
“how I met your mother”-only when there is nothing else to do

family guy and the simpsons are my favorite animations

I also like graphic novels ,basically everything alan moore has ever written (v for Vendeta, from hell, watchmen)

Countries I’ve Visited

France, Germany, Netherlands, Spain, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Greece, Italy
