About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My mission is to improve myself a little bit more everyday (mah!!).

ABOUT ME

I love nature, I live in a countryhouse and I' ve got a lot of pets: 1 dog, 5 cats, hens and roosters,a small pond with frogs. I' m vegetarian and I enjoy travelling, especially by foot and by byke. I am a mother of 5 beautiful children and grandmother of 3. My job is teaching in a secondary school as a Maths teacher, playing the role of Erasmus + Programme coordinator as well, but currently I'm doing a PhD. I enjoy meeting people from other countries, listening to their stories while sharing a meal.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Since I began I 've been hosting a lot of cs, and each of them was a special person. Sometimes, it happens I am busy with my job and other familiar commitments. In this case, I prefer give up hosting, unless my guest has his own vehicle, or bike. As I live in a countryhouse, It's preferable I can show my guest how to reach the bus or the train stops.
I've been quite busy with family stuff for a while (a long while, actually!), and for this reason I've been away from the Couchsurfing community. At the moment I can't host people inside my house, but just outside with a tent.
As I live in a countryhouse, my guests have to get their own vehicle. Otherwise I can show my guests how to reach my place from the bus or the train stops (about 1,5 km far).

Interests

I swim regurarly, I love walking, cycling and fitness. I love passing time with my children. I' m improving my English, and I learn everyday a little more about my favourite subjects: Maths and science. I love travelling Art, Music, Literature, Film, Nature, Cooking, Human Rights, Gardening, Trees, animals.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every summer , since 2011, I travel with three donkeys of a close friend of mine. They carry the tents and the sleeping bags. Usually we are a variable group of about twelve friends of mine. We have been in Apulia, Basilicata, Calabria.

What I Can Share with Hosts

During summer we can visit one of the famous beaches of Salento region and we can enjoy in the evening in a sagra, a typical village fiesta. Usually my house is plenty of friends, and, if you are lucky, you can taste an homemade pizza in our log oven.
During winter it's quite difficult to get around, although I took some cs visiting some beautiful villages like Ostuni and Cisternino.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, France, Greece, Ireland, Morocco, Romania, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom
