ABOUT ME

I'm a Civil Engineer, currently living and working in Ethiopia on large hydro power projects. I spend in Ethiopia the most of the year and I'm home only during my vacation. I'm atheist (I know that it's strange that an italian is not catholic, but I dislike the Catholic theories so much that they make me not to believe in any god).
I like sports, in particular I play football, I love skiing and snowboarding, but also rafting, cycling and volleyball. I like to travel and to meet people from "different cultures"...my wife is Ethiopian!!!! I like to drink wine (I come from a famous wine-region...called Chianti) and beer and to taste typical food from all over the world. I like to spend some time with my friends and with friends of my friends. I love my son Tommaso, my family and my tiny village Castellina in Chianti...

My best friend introduced me in CS, the first cs-event was a huge, amazing and crazy party at Galiga...after that I definetely want to be part of the cs-family.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

I don't have a favourite book, I like Andrea Camilleri and Giovanni Verga, Arthur Conan Doyle and Edgard Allan Poe, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Isabel Allende, John Fante, Bruce Chatwin, Piergiorgio Odifreddi, Peter Gomez and Marco Travaglio. The last book I read is To much Tuscan sun (Dario Castagno).
What about movies? I don't like much TV and movies, I prefer reading a book or goinga out...
I like different kind of music, I like Regina Spector, The Cranberries, The Postal Service, Islands, Buraka Som Sistema...
