Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Traveling, tasting, and exploring.
ABOUT ME
Student at Stanford University studying African and African American Studies, and Feminist Gender and Sexuality Studies. I'm currently in London working on a film project following narratives of gentrification in the city.
I'm half French, half American. My mixed background is most notable in the food I make (dopeeee Tarte Tatin! I make a good one). I am fluent in both French and English, and have been creating and cooking in the kitchen from the time I could wield a knife. I enjoy writing, exploring the world, activism, entertainment/film, and sometimes just sitting in a nice green spot with a good beer.
There's nothing I like more than meeting new people and learning about their experiences and what they're involved in. I think it's when we talk with others and explore places outside of our comfort zones that we gain the most.
PHILOSOPHY
Trying to go with the flow, let things change as they may. Life is too short, folks! I don't have time for negative energy or meaningless exchanges. Positive vibes all the way.
I'm an 'aspiring game changer,' whatever that may mean to you. To me that means inciting change for the better, encouraging inclusivity in all aspects, and promoting positive methods of self care.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In the south of France I did the simplest of things: stood on top of a hay bale and pulled a titanic (arms out, head up). It was the most affirming experience ever. Seeing the blue sky, wisps of clouds, and rolling fields of hay... there's nothing quite like soaking in the wonders of nature.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm big on self care - it's a journey, making yourself find the time to tend to yourself and jump off the hampster wheel that can be the every day.
Allyship and radical acceptance - learning to accept privilege and recognize it for what it is, take up less space in different spaces, approach cultures and ideas different than your own with a humble mind and a readiness to learn.
French - I can teach you how to speak it!
