ABOUT ME

My name is Gitte, I like to just hang out with friends and meet new people. I'm usually the person that goes with the flow, and see what kind of ideas people have. On the other side, I like to give my opinion as well and love to put my personal input into something.
Also I think everyone can learn something from each other, even if their interests are wide apart.

PHILOSOPHY

A lot has been going on during the past few years and the older I get, the more I realize that you have to live life to the fullest. Every day! Sometimes it can be hard for me to look at things day by day and enjoy the little things cause I tend to look to the future instead of the now. Getting there step by step =)

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Evelyne and I went on our first couch surfing trip, where we surfed on 2 couches. I think it is an awesome way to meet people from another country and get in touch with his or her country or city. It's so nice to learn more about other people and what they think and like in general.
Last september Sarah and I made a trip through the United States of America and had some more fun couch surfing with awesome people in San Francisco. You meet cool and interesting people who you'd never met otherwise.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I don't really watch movies that often, but I do like music! It depends on the mood I'm in to choose which kind of music I want to listen to, but I like all different kinds.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I've been going on a lot of trips with my mom when I was yonger, and they have all been really nice.
Such as scuba diving on the Dominican Republic, that's definitely one of my favorites!
I have been an au pair as well for one year in the States, that too is still in my mind for ever!
The most beautiful nature I have seen on my trip to Sweden, september 2013 so Sweden is a country that left a big impression on me. Not only the nature is amazing, the people are so nice there!

I just came back from the most amazing trip through the US. We saw a nice mixture of cities and beautiful nature. Love that country!
