About Me

Hey there! I’m a 21 yrs old italo-brazilian born and raised in Lake Como, currently studying at Brighton University. I consider myself a creative, positive and pretty wise individual. I have a huge passion for art, photography and cinema. Very interested in philosophy and anthropology too, but I am still working my way to some knowledge in matter.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I grew up simultaneously facing two cultures and I learnt from my parents the importance of reciprocal help within a community. And I feel this is what Couchsurfing stands for, and is the reason why I support this and I am thankful. Not being afraid of other, connect with other cultures and make new friends that can teach you uncountable lessons.

I am passionated in history of art and cinema, getting into alchemist art too. I am learning film making and photography.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music-wise I generally am a funky and 80s person. More in the specifics I love some Brazilian bossa nova, italo-disco, psychedelic rock, arriving to post-punk. (to name a few of my highlights Mount Kimbie, Tame Impala, John Maus, Talking Heads, Buena Vista Social Club, Mild High Club, Allah-Las, Marcos Valle, Gilberto Gil). I have a passion for cinema, from Nouvelle Vague, to Mike Mills and Yorgos Lanthimos. I don’t read as much as I should and I would want to, but favourite writer for now is Milan Kundera.

I started a clothing brand to donate part of the profit to skateboarding charities across the glob and empower minorities within the subculture
