Overview
About Me
I'm a freelance conservator based in Rome. I often work with archaeological missions in Iraq and spend many time there. The app on my mobile says that I visited only the 8% of the world. Maybe this is my weak point! My strong point? It is that I I want to discover the remaining 92%...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I hosted a couchsurfer last summer, without being yet a couchsurfer myself. It was fun and he told me how to start. Now, even if I can't host anymore because I already sleep on my couch, I want to keep on couchsurfing. Why? To discover new cultures and new places, I guess.
But anyway, why not?
Interests
As a conservator of cultural heritage, I like all kind of Art. But when I travel, I'm more interested in the people that I meet. I also love to discover the local food and try to learn the traditional dances (but please don't laugh when I do it).

Music, Movies, and Books
Too many! It's easier to say what I don't like...
So, don't ask me to dance techno music and to watch science fiction movies!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, I worked as a magician's assistant. I was cut, I levitated above crystal glasses and guessed the thoughts of the audience while I was in a trance!
Lately, I played a football match under the ziggurat of Ur (Iraq) at night, in the middle of nowhere. it was great and incredible! Is it enough?
