About Me

Hello :)
I'm Giulia, I'm 25 and I'm a PhD student in Neuroscience at Imperial College London. I have been living here in London for almost a year now after spending 2 years in Boston, USA, where I started being fascinated by travelling and discovering the world :)
I'm a really energetic and curios person, I love running, cycling and hiking. I am passionate about arts, in particular theater and movie events, and I would never say no to a fun night out.
I do a lot of yoga, I am trying to get into meditation and mindfulness, even though I'm still struggling a lot with it. I guess it is meant to be a slow progression. I am vegetarian and I am really sensible regarding pollution and waste in general. I love our planet and I think we should try to preserve it as much as we can.
My ideal trip is visiting a new Country and discovering it with my own eyes, step by step, meeting locals and blending into the culture. I love the idea of combining both city life and natural excursions, hopping around different villages using local transportation and maybe saying few words in the local language.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think this can be the best way to get to know a new place and to meet people with same interests while travelling. It's a fantastic opportunity to be introduced to a new culture and a new place :)
