Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I use couchsurfing a lot when I travel on my own to get to know locals and travellers, as guest or to hang out. I had to move in new places few times and the couchsurfing events are the first place in which I go since I'm sure I will meet cool and openminded people there. I'm currently located in Zaragoza and I knew very good friends during the weekly "beersurfing". I also like to be helpful as much as I can hosting and showing around the city.

IMPORTANT
Unforunately, I'm receving a lot of request fom people who think that couch surfing is a platform of free hotel. I can consider last minute request but I have a life and I have to organize my week: be respectfull.
More than once, people writing the same day for being hosted never confirmed nor cancel after I gave my availability.
Please, don't write me at 10 pm asking me to be hosted the same day.
If I say that I can host just one person, don't send me a request for three people and a dog...I actually can host just one person.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted some couchsurfers in Florence and Jerez de la Frontera. Now me and my flatemate are hosting people in Zaragoza once in a while. I go almost every saturday to the weekly couchsurfing event in Zaragoza.
I use couchsurfing hangout when I travel and if I move to a new places for a period.
I have been hosted in Cyprus, Netherland, Macedonia, Serbia and Croatia. I met amazing people and a couple of persons that I consider good friends of mine.

Interests

I love travelling and hang out at international environments. When I travel, among several aspects, I am interested in knowing different kind of dishes and learn how to prepare it. When I have time, I spend hours in the kitchen preparing meals, with a glass of wine and some music...
I have a strong civic mindedness and I am keen on politics and ecology.
The bicycle is my main means of transport but it is also the symbol of an ideal lifestyle.
Moreover, well..I do not disdain to go out dancing and have party!
