About Me
CURRENT MISSION
finishing the PhD to start a new phase of my life!
ABOUT ME
What friends would say? "She has the sun in her!". Friendly and talkative, basically I like exchanging a lot, although at the beginning I might look a little shy. Always happy to learn, from cultural aspects to languages and, of course, how to cook local food! I adore discovering new places, not only the typical tourist ones... I'm more interested in how people live in other countries. Because of my PhD studies I'm currently a little less available for travelling, but I cannot complain since I live between Paris and Shanghai.
PHILOSOPHY
Respect everybody and everything on Earth and you'll have done most of good in the world.

Interests
I adore studying foreign languages and if I had more time I would go on learning new ones. I like communicating and entering in contact with new cultures, so that's the reason for such an interest. I'm currently learning German since I've always been charmed by this language. When I'm not on my books, I like running long distances and I adore music above all. I could sing all the time! Of course I enjoy a lot good music, one reason more for travelling and discovering new music!

Music, Movies, and Books
As many others in my generation, I love Murakami's novels. In general Japanese literature. But not only. Another favourite writer is Kundera. But I like reading in general. Music: hard to say... music from everywhere could interest me. Movies? Could watch Wong Kar Wai's movies several times.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
the sun dawn in Istanbul... I was walking near Dolmabahce palace to meet a friend a little later, but my flight arrived too early, so I had a little walk and had this wonderful moment.
the vision of Kinkakuji temple in Kyoto... you walk a little alley and then you find yourself in front of one of the most amazing places in the world. I stared at it for minutes, charmed by the beauty of Kyoto's temples and gardens.
Teach, Learn, Share
Whatever language people want to talk (that I know) I'm always very happy to use one of them, even different ones at the same time. Better when we're cooking together a speciality from Italy!
Countries I’ve Visited
Austria, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, India, Japan, Netherlands, Poland, South Korea, Turkey
