Music, Movies, and Books
I like to listen to the most diverse musical genres, but I tend to always go back to folkish, dreamy, emotional music with rich, long, tale-telling lyrics. Anyway here are some of the artist that I like most: Bright Eyes, Patrick Wolf, Tallest Man on Earth, Fleet Foxes, Nirvana, Sigur Rós, the Cure, the Smiths, Dolly Parton, Cocorosie, Damien Rice, David Bowie.
Some movies that I like are Gummo (Korine), Mulholland Drive, Elephant Man (Lynch), Melancholia (Von Trier), Happiness (Solondz), The Wicker Man (1973, Hardy), Le charme discret de la bourgeoisie (Buñuel), Le fantôme de la liberté (Buñuel)...
My absolute favourite book is The Lost Language of Plants (Buhner). Some others are The Unbearable Lightness of Being (Kundera), Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance (Pirsing), Kitchen (Yoshimoto), Harry Potter (closest thing to world peace that could happen to humans), Pennac's books. I also like books by Palahniuk, Baricco, Yoshimoto, Gaarder, et cetera.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I like to think my whole life has been pretty amazing, for it has always brought me to wonderful places, people and experiences. Among the best memories: fall deeply and madly in love, travel on a bike for several months while WWOOFing to learn permaculture, getting to know amazing people.
