About Me

Hello! I'm Giulia, I work remotely and I love to travel and work from always different places.

I like nature and animals, camping and discovering authentic, non-touristy places. I am a very curious person towards everything I do not know and it is different from my everyday life. This is why I love to discover different cultures and meet people with unconventional lifestyles and slowly build my own.

I love the sea, reading and painting, I appreciate art in all its forms, I dance tango and I would like to learn to play the piano. I'm interested in meditation and Buddhism and I'm learning to live more slowly enjoying the present moment.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's my third solo trip I'm making abroad and I'd like to meet someone to share travel moments with!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a little bit of everything, but I admit that I prefer melancholy music that makes me feel emotions.

I also really like indie, country and folk music, I like Mumford and Sons, the Lumineers, Ed Sheeran, Coldplay, Simon and Garfunkel, Italian songwriters...

I love movies based on true, inspirational stories and comedies

I love reading novels whether classic like Jane Austin or modern, I like the historical genre that can teach me something, like Ken Follett's books and personal growth books. I choose books based on how I feel and the period of my life. I believe that books can help find answers and there is always a right book for every moment.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's not that strange but it's the first that comes to mind: in January I took a van trip to Lanzarote in the Canary Islands. I visited the whole island and fell asleep under star-filled skies listening to the sound of the sea waves and woke up in front of beautiful sunrises.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can definitely help with graphic and web design work. I can teach some tango steps :)

I would like to improve my English, learn Spanish and play a musical instrument.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a very quiet, peaceful and tidy person. I am very independent. I don't think I'm very good at cooking but I like to experiment with new dishes, especially since I've been a vegetarian. (No worries and judgment if you eat meat!)
