About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find something that I'm willing to do for the rest of my life. I don't want to just have a job. I want to WANT that job. I want to wake up every morning and be happy with what I do.

ABOUT ME

I'm a happy and friendly person.
I'm altruistic, funny, outgoing...
I love chatting but I even though sometimes I chat too much, I'm also a great listener.
I'm openminded and I love getting to know new people and places.

PHILOSOPHY

I'm not so good with words, but once I found a quote that I loved and it's basically the sentence that resumes my life (by Steve Jobs): "Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on. So keep looking until you find it. Don't settle." And that's pretty much what I'm doing. And this philosophy applies to everything in my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed in
Charlotte, NC,
Evanston, IL
Harlem, NY
and hosted quite a few couchsurfers that became or already were friends from previous experiences

Interests

My first interest is traveling.
I've visited a lot of countries (in the US I lived in NY and Illinois and visited many other places and states and in Europe, I visited Canada, Great Britain, France, Spain, Greece, Austria, Croatia, and Switzerland)
I hope I get the chance to keep doing it.
I love learning new languages and cultures.
I also love music (I play the piano and guitar and I sing) and animals (I have a lovely dog).

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC: Everything. I love rock, pop, country, classic, hip-hop, rap, classic...

BOOKS: I loooove reading but if I gotta pick, I'd say that my favorite books are Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen and The Wedding by Nicholas Sparks.

MOVIES: Can't pick a favorite movie. I love any kind of genre besides horror.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first experience on a plane I think... I was 11 and I knew already that traveling was going to become my life.
The second probably would be my 2 weeks study-holiday I had in Los Angeles with my Best friend... WOW!!
And the last but not least 2012. I worked and studied in Evanston, Illinois. It was just one year program so I had to come back to Italy, unfortunately, but since I fell in love with that awesome city I'm planning to go back as soon as possible.

Teach, Learn, Share

Be open. And share your life. You learn something new every day and everyone knows something you don't know.
It's incredible how easy can be to learn if only we would pay more attention to what other people tell us.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Besides friendship, well... I am a very good chef and I love cooking for other people.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, France, Greece, Ireland, Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
