Going to Bruxelles to make the best of my Erasmus year

ABOUT ME

Not an easy task in just few lines!!! Well i could put down the first adjectives that come up in my head if I think at myself...that could be quite exhaustive! I´m very curious even though sometime i don´t show it up cause at the same time i´m a bit shy, discreet i´d rather say! I´m very talkative but i take my time to get in deeper conversations with people i´ve just met. I´m very direct and not too able to hide my feelings so that makes of me a not diplomatic person (that´s what people that know me say at least). I said i´m talkative but also very indipendent and i now and then feel the need to stay on my own and have my privacy...while when i´m hanging out with people i know how to have fun and enjoy the company; i´m a quite confident party person when i´m free from studying!
I´ve always been a critical one, especially when i have conversation about social and political life...can be heavy to stand but i like to compare my point of view with others´one!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The only time I met a couchsurfer was in Istanbul while i was visiting the city. The girl hosted a friend of mine one year before i met her. My friend gave me her contact just to have a look around the city together (since i already booked a hostel to sleep) and so she showed me off some cool night life in Istanbul when we met...and, last but not least, some delicious and cheap restaurants!!

For first i must say i´ve lots of interests and too little time to enjoy them since i started stuying medicine! Of course that´s my biggest passion and i´m glad i´m going to spend my life working on what i love but before starting university i had way more free time to manage. I love arts and enjoy making my own paintings, most of all i´m in collages! I tried to find a sport suitable with my timetable at the hospital but it hasn´t been an easy stuff...i´ve been rowing for 2 years (then i left when my team decided to start competions and training 4 times a week...too much time) and this year i´ve been playing in a female basketball team composed of very busy girls which was terribly funny even for a beginner as me!
Next to that i love chillin´with my friends just listening at music (we spend long afternoons making our own playlists) or watching movies.
I love cooking... i´m quite talented actually and it relaxes me so much that i use it as a kind of therapy during stressful exams sessions!
I love animals, dogs especially, and now and then i work as dogsitter (it´s more a volounteer work for friends that travel a lot and don´t want to leave their puppies to strangers).
Another great love is with mountains...Since i´m born quite close to the Alpes i´ve spent lot of time up there, during summers and winters, and mountains are one of those things i´ve missed a lot while i was staying for long times away!I´m gonna miss them next year in Brussels !!!
