About Me

Hi, I’m an adventurous soul with a curious mind, currently on a gap year before starting university (I am deciding between medicine and engineering). My life has been a mix of creative pursuits, physical challenges, and a thirst for meaningful connections.

For 8 years, I was a competitive swimmer, which taught me discipline and perseverance. I also spent 5 years playing the violin, falling in love with the ability to express emotions through music. Beyond that, I’m deeply passionate about the arts—whether it’s clay sculpting, painting , or simply admiring the creativity of others.

When I’m not creating, you’ll often find me outdoors. I’ve been on incredible biking and hiking trips across Europe and skiing adventures in Norway, where I fell in love with the serenity of nature and the rush of adrenaline. Books- especially Philosophy - also holds a special place in my heart—it helps me see life from new perspectives, and I strive to live by the mantra *carpe diem*.

I was also an exchange student in America for a year

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe the best way to truly experience a place is through the people who live there. Couchsurfing offers something that hotels never can—a genuine connection with locals, a glimpse into their world, and the chance to share stories, experiences, and culture.

For me, traveling isn’t just about ticking off destinations; it’s about creating meaningful connections and learning something new with every encounter. I’m drawn to the kindness and openness of the Couchsurfing community, and I hope to bring the same energy and enthusiasm to every place I visit.

Whether it’s sharing meals, exploring hidden gems, or simply having a good conversation, I love the idea of forming bonds that transcend borders. I see Couchsurfing as a way to break out of the tourist bubble and embrace the world as it really is—one couch, one story, one human connection at a time.
