ABOUT ME

We are a blended family with five children. Tasha is a designer who believes in beauty in all things. Joshua is the father of our five children. We are both huge nerds.

PHILOSOPHY

My overall goal in life: help people feel better. Through my job, through my statements (if a statement of mine ever hurts you, please tell me, because I guarantee that wasn't the point), and through my interactions with others. It is to defeat shaming and othering and meanness of all kinds, tell the truth as I see it without being callous, and show love and respect for everyone.
And to give hugs. Lots of hugs (but only to people who are comfortable with it).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people of various cultures (and try to get over my own social anxiety!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We held our wedding in our own apartment, Tasha catered it; then for our honeymoon we drove past the arctic circle to Inuvik.

Teach, Learn, Share

Joshua is really great with computers; Tasha loves creating in various media including cooking, leatherworking, stained glass and other things. Both love the outdoors and the beauty of the area.
