About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Carpe Diem.

ABOUT ME

Well, I always feel a little bit constraint when I'm told to describe 'all about' myself, and there are many textboxes to fill in this webpage... So, let's see: an Open-minded and very curious person, I like learning and I am always looking forward to experiencing diverse roles and situations. I like having time on my own as well, assimilating the enviroments I find myself in. Understanding people is one of my main goals, there's a why for everything and I try to get it one way or another.
I like music, books, films, travelling, interesting food, wine, weird people, couture.
I'm not a 'sport person' but I do like physical activities.

PHILOSOPHY

This excerpt was taken from the Federico Fellini's film Otto e Mezzo (8 1/2): (Sorry, this is in spanish, it really gets me that way)
"Soy serio para ser un principiante, pero no lo suficiente para ser un profesional.
La vida más miserable es mejor... que una vida protegida por una sociedad organizada, donde todo está previsto, perfecto. (...)
Sólo puedo ser tu amigo, me es imposible aconsejarte."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I'd heard of CS in the past. When I was living in Bogotá, I met a guy who constantly received people who used CS services. I was curious, but actually didn't do anything about that back then, now I'm based in Beijing and I want to help foreigners who want to get some orientation in the place I'm staying nowadays.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
A few years ago I was doing an internship in Turkey and got the chance to meet lots of people around the area thanks to CS, it's not all registered as I wasn't the host, but a friend. Anyways, that's it, I've been living in Beijing for a while, so I can show around some pretty cool places if you are interested.
