My name is Glah. I am was born and raised in Thailand for 18 years then I went to the U.S. for my Bachelor degree for 5 years. Now, I am pursuing a Master degree in Edinburgh, UK. After graduation, I will go back and work as a Thai civil servant in the Office of the Civil Service Commission, the central HR department of the Thai government.

A bit about myself, I love traveling and meeting new people to discover their cultures and interesting stories. I have been to 16 countries but plan to visit a lot more in the next coming years. Things I love about traveling is the interaction with the locals and of course to try out their meals and drinks! I like cooking too and would love to help you cook your secret recipe dishes or cook my grandma’s recipe Thai food for you.

During my free time, I usually watch a movie or TV series, GoT, suits, Breaking Bad, House of Cards and so on, and listen to some good music (easy listening like Ed or Coldplay). I like outdoor activities too like running, biking, hiking, camping, swimming, and windsurfing. I also like talking politics and philosophy cause they have greatly expanded my mind and concept about our lives.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

A friend of mine introduced this concept to me and I think it suits my travel style well. I am a hostel person in the first place so I get used to spending nights with new friends. Not only I am planning to stay but also to host some of the friends from couchsurfing too. I got my own place in the suburb of Bangkok so I can host up to 3 guests at my one bedroom apartment (Starting from Oct 2018 :) ).

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

1. Went on a 7-day road trip in the West of the U.S. with family. We visited Las Vegas, Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, Los Angeles, Bass lake, Yosemite, and San Francisco.

2. Jumped naked in a frozen lake in Stockholm 5 times! (after sauna of course) 😜
