How would friends describe me? They would say that I'm a good Catholic wife and homeschooling mother of four who loves to meet new people, learn from them, share with them, and celebrate - however briefly - the journey that is life with them.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this point, I'm hosting and traveling vicariously through the people that come to me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have hosted about ten times now, and while the circumstances of each visitor was wildly different, I've thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. Look forward to hosting more in the short term, and eventually being hosted.

These days I'm first and foremost a Mom. We're busy with homeschooling, music lessons and sports - lots of sports - but we also make time to have fun. Before having children, I worked 15 years as a software designer/programmer and have taught computer science classes at Penn State's campus here in Harrisburg. I love to meet new people and learn new things.

Giving birth naturally to all four of my children - the last two here at home. Watching Volcan Arenal erupt with my new husband on our honeymooon in Costa Rica.
