Currently in the SF Bay Area where I'm from after finishing graduate school in Boston, MA. I've moved here and there for school commitments, so I'm use to packing light and being a bit of a nomad. I just finished a 6month residency program and looking to take some time off this summer and hopefully move out of state by the end of the year.
Outside of my professional endeavors, my hobbies tend to take me outside. I spend a lot of my time dreaming and planning camping and backpacking trips. I'm planning on doing the John Muir Trail in August!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For added adventure and to meet great people along the way! Everyone has something to teach and I have so much to learn.
I try to make a point of getting outside regularly. I've been hiking a lot and getting more serious about backpacking. I have an ever growing Google Doc filled with places I want to go and have been camping more regularly the past year.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Listening to more podcasts recently
Movie: Spirited Away. It's whimsical and the soundtrack is on point.
Books: Been looking at a lot of maps recently.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I relied on hitchhiking in Yosemite to get back to my car. The world isn't as bad as the news portrays.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach respect. Learn appreciation. Share passion
Basically, just be a decent human being.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Conversation over beverages. I have a degree as a physical therapist/physio, but haven't taken my boards yet...so I COULD provide some professional opinion regarding a physical ailment, of course, at my discretion.
