About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield. - Tennyson
ABOUT ME
Oh my goodness, this is stressfull. I really love to talk, but not about myself to a computer screen. I read a lot - trying to compensate for skipping a year of school but I love it so it's not a problem. I love playing and watching soccer (football!). I love music, but I'm kind of lazy - I mostly just listen to whatever my friends recommend. YOU should introduce me to some new bands! Now that I've actually traveled I can safely say that I LOVE it, the more places I go the more places I realize I still want to visit. My next destination is Ireland (fingers crossed)! I also love cooking and watching good movies, and especially enjoy an evening spent cooking a delicious meal with friends followed by a film. I really want to learn as many languages as possible, but right now I am sadly monolingual. I took latin in high school in hopes that it would help me learn other romance languages, but it turns out dead languages can only get you so far. I'm working on it, though.
PHILOSOPHY
" I learned this, at least, by my experiment; that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours."
-Thoreau
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
It's true I can't offer a couch right now, but while I'm in Seattle (for the summer) I can get you discounts on the best cupcakes in town, and make you some pretty decent coffee.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I stayed with a girl in Lisbon and with another girl in Paris. Both were so nice. Meeting other travelers is fun, but meeting locals is GREAT.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took a gap year- I traveled by myself and survived. I went to Ethiopia and bummed around Western Europe. It was great because I wanted to do it and I did - it was the first thing I really did on my own.
