CURRENT MISSION

I am wanting to spread smiles and universal love, intending to increase my stock of cultural knowledge. I will show that we Americans aren't as bad, that there are open-minded and thoughtful/reasonable people left. Maybe I will learn something.

ABOUT ME

I like to travel, I like creating humor and also people with a sense of humor. Laughter is the spice of life. And smiles can burn calories :P. I like sports- mostly Michigan football; that is American college football, not soccer ^_^ . I also like reading, gardening, working with my hands- i.e. repairing things or working on my crappy car :P. I am a really nice guy, hoping to find a really wonderful woman who puts up with me, flaws and all.

PHILOSOPHY

"Judge not lest ye be judged, in return.", "love your neighbor as you would yourself.", and if we can just be warm in our interactions we would not have so much conflict. But people are sometimes deceptive and cunning, sneaky and manipulative. But love conquers all in the end.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am going to check out the program first by visiting friendly people around the world, and when I get a place of my own and stability I will host my couch for anyone who wants to visit me or my country, or both! HA!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed in Ukraine 3 times, twice with couch surfing. I haven't tried it in any other country but sure it works well.

This is under construction, but to quickly brief you on myself-- I am a very open-minded, empathetic, and unique person who cares about anyone, big or small. I love politics, and how people through history have used politics to get their way, for good or worse. I am working on getting everyone to get along, using globalization as a positive tool to spread my mission. I love sports, such as soccer, football, basketball, and golf. I like movies, cinema, and opera/symphony orchaestra.

I really like many things, comedy, drama, action, mystery, sci-fi, horror, and romance. I don't read romance or drama, but the other genres are what I pick up. I also read historic or biographical, novels. I like good music, no matter the genre.. classical, rock, hip-hop, rap, electronic, dance, blues, jazz. I dig Daft Punk and maybe some Beastie Boys, plus Dave Matthews Band, and Jason Mraz. Mix in some Lil Wayne or Eminem, to name a few.

I believe totally in this philosophy, and this will help open people's minds up to new and different trains of thought or cultures and traditions. But, we are all of the same species and we all are social, so we all can get along!
