I did my first Couchsurfing, which allowed me to attend a wonderful dance event.

Faculty spouse and household manager (i.e. I take care of everything while my husband teaches (math & music), plays bridge, hikes, &c. In my free time, I volunteer (though not much this year, after I broke my neck), dance, talk with (mostly long distance) friends, &c.

Before I met Mark, I was a computer person working on Wall Street. I've been in MN for 30+ years and I still don't understand MN Nice [passive aggressiveness, locally sanctioned]. I am outspoken, enjoy lively discussions, and yet am a very nice person. [See Ruth's recommendation]

I am a person you want to have a a gathering or as a house guest. I am not the center of attention but will see when space is needed for another dish coming from the kitchen, washing glasses if running low, i.e. helping with what is needed.
