Hey there, I am Gloria

I am a young open minded girl that likes to discover the planet earth.

I like to meet new people and have a good chat with them, about anything really. I am sure there is always something to talk about. What I really like about conversations is that you can learn something and hear someone elses perspective on life, which then can help you understand things in life in a different way. Even though I like to talk I might be a little shy at the begining, don't really know why, maybe because I am a little introverted or it is just me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started using couchsurfing because of my trip to Finnland in 2019. The goal is it to travel all the way to Finnland, starting in Zürich, Switzerland. And all of this by bike, a little crazy. As I want to get to know some new likeminded people as well as some new cities, and all of that at a low cost budget, couchsurfing seemed like the best way to go.

Interests

I am interessted in (almost) everything, but I have to hear about it first . Currently I enjoy learning about the mechanics of bike. History is something I always want to learn more about, which is also a reason why I travell but it also because it helps me to understand todays society a little better :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all kind of music. From jazz to rock, to rap to electronic (dance) music to classics. Currently I prefer indie and accoustic music but before that I was really into electronic music and electro pop, I even tried to produce it myselfe. But all I need is a catchy beat and some good lyrics to it :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I am open minded and love to learn new things, even though my brain isn't always the best and I forget things when I don't use them frequently. Somthing that always fascinates me is how unique every human being is but how there still are paralleles between some people. I love hearing about peoples mindset and how they see the world, much respect if you share your view :)

One thing I really habe to learn is correct grammar in english and german, this never really was my strength. At this point, please tell me if you finde some mistakes in my description ;)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can talk to you. I really like to listen to other people, so if you have something to tell I would love to listen to you. I can cook. I can adapt very easily to anything so i am not that complicated.
