ABOUT ME

Difficult to speak about ourselves...but at least I can tell that I enjoy being as much as I can in contact with nature, and appreciate simple things mostly. Interested in almost anything..! A listener lover, who delights in new stories and details. All that mixed with good reading and spaces of silence, that are always needed =D
And the dark side: flea market addict and kitsch freak =O

Regarding more practical things, I'm a uruguayan living in Cuba for 3 more years, and I live with my boyfriend Mauricio in the island.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

First I became a couch surfer to show my town, that I love, to others. That's Montevideo, in Uruguay. Nowadays I moved one year ago to Cuba, so I change my address and keep hosting people in order to give them a local view (even I'm not local, je), because my place is very well situated in Vedado. I have also more space than what I need, so it's nice to share it. And finally, been a couch surfer allows me to met people in other countries when I travel, as well.

Intereses

I'm a psychologist who works in art direction for commercials and plays the violin when it´s possible(or when a trip is involved!). Spend the time reading, cooking, and staring at million things....nearly in autistic mode =)Birds, leaves, grass, the smoke of the coffee, the fog in the glass, the ants in the kitchen....everything grab my attention...that´s my biggest problem!!! =P And that´s maybe why I'm a photo freak........
Also love to spend long time outdoors, even in winter....The sea and the river in Uruguay are beautiful!

Algo increíble que he hecho

1)The beauty of the Mekong river and the bike rides in Luang Prabang.
2)A religious parade called "calenda" in a small town, Monte Alban, near Oaxaca(mex). A friend and I were the only foreigns there, and the whole family invite us to each house to celebrate, eating and drinking homemade stuff for the celebration.
3)The tuesday liturgy at the pelourinho church Nossa Senhora do Rosário dos Pretos in Bahia. All the drums and the people singing "Jesuscristo" in a fully church....astonishing!!!
